You can approach the manufacturing of thermo-moulded plastic materials in many different ways. The philosophy adopted by Model Technic on this matter is very clear: we want to transfer the experience acquired in precision moulding into vacuum thermo-moulding, in order to obtain not simple 'plastic pieces', but pieces that are perfect in every detail.
We own very efficient instruments to this aim: in particular we use various thermo-moulders, the biggest of which is now able to obtain elements with maximum dimensions of 2000 x 12000 x 600 millimetres. In June 2000 Model Technich is going to increase its productive capability by mean of a new thermo-moulder, having a working table of 2500 x 1500 x 800 millimetres.

In order to perfect the contour of the thermo-moulded pieces, Model Technic uses a latest milling machine, having 5 axles ruled by a CNC, a NUM calculation unit and a working table of 3800 x 2200 x 1159 millimetres. This machinery completely satisfies the necessity of obtaining precise and difficult cuts and it increases a lot the productive capability of the firm.
On the contrary, for smaller or simpler productions the experienced staff of Model Technic can use the traditional tools.

By request, Model Technic can assembly the components it has produced, eventually on structured provided by the client. This activity is run by personnel that's prepared to work on details, and this is necessary in order to obtain very precise results, according to the quality standards of the Company.

The same quality standards are guaranteed in relation to the painting, that can be made with great care both on plastic and composite materials. The modern painting machinery used by Model Technic contributes to make its industrial offer really complete.

By the thermo-moulding process, Model Technic can give a shape to the following materials:
